Find A Volunteer

Volunteers whom choose to have their contact information made available will be listed here.  If there is a volunteer listed in this document that is in your area, please feel free to contact them about signing our petition, the End Ohio Cannabis Prohibition Act.  If there is not a volunteer listed for your area, please be patient – the petition has just been revised and this part of the site is the last page that needs updating.  If you would like to help us collect signatures, please see how to Become a Volunteer.  If you want to sign the petition, contact one of the volunteers, visit one of our Signing Locations, or find us at one of our Events.  If you have other questions, concerns, or comments, please see our FAQ’s page, Amendment page, or Contact page.

Thank You!

I’d like to know where I can sign a petition.

    • Don says:

The petitions that we submitted should be approved within the next couple of weeks (probably later this week). I have updated this page to include that information above. No one is able to sign our petition or help collect signatures until then. Please check back on our Blog, Facebook page, or sign up for our newsletter in the left column of our website for updates!

how do I sign the petition

    • Don says:

We are just getting started, but we will have volunteers, signing locations, and events posted where you will be able to sign. If you are able to make it to Yellow Springs this Saturday for their Street Fair, that is the first and only event that we have scheduled so far, details on our Events page. Once we get the volunteers’ info together, we will make that available here as well. This will be a long road to 2016, so there will be ample time. Stay tuned to our site and Facebook page to stay updated. And thanks for the support!

  3. Eric says:

Anyone interested in signing around the Kettering/Dayton area can contact me via email at Plumlee42@hotmail.com and we will arrange a way to do so. :-)

How can I sign near the Gates Mills area?

    • Don says:

We currently only have one person from Cuyahoga County that signed up as a volunteer. If you are going to the Ohio Norml benefit this weekend, we have a volunteer at that event. If you are going to the Resonance Music & Arts Festival Oct 2-4th, I will be there. Not sure if we will be able to set up a booth or if we’ll be doing walking petitioning again, so may have to look for our petitions in the air. After these 2 events, we will be submitting our summary for approval. So if you aren’t going to be at either event, it would probably be easiest to wait until after the summary is approved. At that point, I suspect that we will have more dedicated signing locations and volunteers. We will be posting more information on this shortly. Thanks for your support!

Where can I sign in marion county

    • Don says:

Sorry for the delayed response, we do not currently have a volunteer in Marion County. We will be submitting our petition summary in the coming weeks and hope to have our volunteer and event lists updated afterwards. So stay tuned, if the summary is approved, there will be plenty of time, and hopefully resources, to get to everyone that wants to sign.

Where can I find a petition to sign in Summit County?

    • Don says:

I have contacted our Volunteers in Summit County to see if they have petitions still, or if they’ve already mailed them in to us. If they don’t currently have any, after our summary is approved next month, we will have a much better presence around the state with signing locations all over, so you can always sign later. This is a long process and these are still the early days of it…

  8. Earl Evans says:

I would like to sign the petition. I’m in the Cincinnati area.

    • Don says:

We have a signing location still active by UC (the others have already mailed their petitions to us). The i Superior is the name of the store, 119 Calhoun St. Thanks for the support, and please let your friends know! Thanks!

Where can we sign the petition in summit county…..please respond asap.

      • Don says:

When petitioning resumes, we will announce it on our blog, along with permanent signing locations, events, and local volunteers. Petitioning is currently suspended since we already submitted our initial 1,000 signatures to the Attorney General’s office for summary approval, which should happen later this month or early March. Thank you for your support! If our summary is approved, the main signature drive deadline for 2016 will be the first week of 2016, so there will be plenty of opportunities for everyone to sign, we will make sure of it!

  10. Leeann says:

Come to Cleveland ohio you will get tons of signatures here!!

    • Don says:

We have volunteers registered from all over the state, though I’m not sure how many are actively collecting at this time. Once the summary is submitted (which we’re looking to schedule for the first week of February) and approved, we look forward to getting our volunteers motivated and out there! Everywhere! Stay tuned, we have some other big news in store once the summary is approved!

  11. Reverend Scotty Lee Mull Sr. says:

    Hello,

Where can I sign in Alliance, Ohio, 44601

    • Don says:

After our summary is approved next month, we will have signing locations, volunteers, and events all over the state. Most have already sent their petitions to us, so locations are very limited until after summary approval. At that point, though, late next month, check back with us and we will have a better answer for you. We haven’t expanded much with only needing 1,000 signatures for summary approval, but once that happens, we have a host of organizers, volunteers, and financial backers that are ready to get our petitions out there everywhere in the state.

I am reading the questioned posts and comments. I think you need to make a main post on where everyone can sign this. I am from the Cleveland area and the only post I see was at some fest this past fall. I think it would be smart to contact head shops and local Normal shops to see if you can leave a petition there to sign. I am disabled and not able to get alot of places without help and a fest isn’t some place I can go to sign.

I’d like to know of a contact in Ross Co (Chillicothe.) If there isn’t, I’d volunteer.

    • Don says:

We do have a couple volunteers in Ross, but they have already sent their petitions to us since we are ready to submit our summary. After our summary is approved next month, we will have signing locations, volunteers, and events all over the state. At that point, though, late next month, check back with us and we will have a better answer for you. I will also add your email to our Volunteers mailing list so you can stay informed and be made aware of any opportunities where we will need help after the summary is approved. Thanks for your support!

Sinclair, so Montgomery county? I have added you to our volunteers list and I look forward to working with you to finally free Ohio from these draconian drug laws!
