Cincinnati, 3/28/2015

We will be in Cincinnati Saturday afternoon petitioning from one of our permanent signing locations. Since it is just across from UC, we plan on walking around campus to petition and drum up support as well. If you have any trouble locating the store or us, please text Don McAdams. Thank You!

I don’t think that I’ll be able to make the drive that day, myself, but I would love to have a volunteer at the event! May have one already, I’ll have to get with the group to see, but feel free to share our Volunteers page! We support freedom and the end of tyranny, too! The only way to make it happen is to do it ourselves, because the corporatocracy isn’t going to do it for US…

I do not mind supporting good causes. I don’t agree with only 10 people being allowed to sell this marijuana. Why can’t it be a selective process for those individuals who would like to own and operate one. Its easy to say legalize it. What does this mean for those who are already incarcerated for posession/selling marijuana, not any other charges? Will they be released? I would like to own a marijuana growing and dispensery business here in Ohio. So if its just going to be limited to 10 wealthy “drug lords” then this ballot WILL NOT GET MY VOTE. I think this ballot should be revised to allow certain people that pass background checks to be able to sell/grow marijuana. DO NOT LIMIT IT TO 10 INDIVIDUALS. Who will these 10 individuals be and why do they get specail priority in owning an operation in Ohio? I would like and do expect a response in a reasonable amount of time.

The group proposing only 10 growers… IS NOT US!! “What does this mean for those who are already incarcerated for posession/selling marijuana, not any other charges? Will they be released?” With our plan, yes! Our initiative gives equal opportunity for everyone to grow their own cannabis or business. We don’t agree with the 10 growers plan, neither. Please read over our proposed amendment, I think you will like our proposal.

Where could I go to support your efforts in Columbus Ohio? I would like the opportunity to at least sign your initiate if not volunteer to help out. I support your ballot initiative and can not believe anyone is actually backing the sneaky named other organization that sounds way to close to yours for comfort. Any way I digress. How can I help?

When updates are available, we will post them on our blog. Petitioning is currently suspended since we already submitted our initial 1,000 signatures to the Attorney General’s office for summary approval. If you would like to volunteer to collect signatures once petitioning resumes, you can sign up to be a Volunteer and we will contact you as soon as we update that list and have more news. It may also be a good idea to familiarize yourself with our initiative and the petitioning instructions found here.

Thanks for your support! We look forward to working with you to END cannabis prohibition, once and for all!
